Chippendale's drinking set continues to flourish with its newest boutique bar, The Chip Off The Old Block, which is set to open its rustic doors next Wednesday night, May 28, serving up old-fashioned English grub and classic brews.

This new Sydney watering hole, which will be housed in a converted Gothic Revival church, will recall the ye olde English migrant past of Chippendale (think an Oliver-esque twist), while celebrating its uber-creative present.

You can expect an array of delectable morsels, including bubble and squeak pie, prawn cocktail, bacon butty and newspaper-wrapped fish 'n' chips—just what you need to soak up an extensive list of beer, wine and hard-hitting cocktails!

Sydneysiders, you need to check out this new inner-city bar ASAP! From 5-7pm from Wednesday till Sunday, 'Let's Get Chipper' will offer $5 house wines and local beer—yes! And while you are at it, hop to these 10 bars you may not know but should . . .

The Chip Off The Old Block
Address: 3 Little Queen Street, Chippendale NSW 2008
