If there’s one thing we’ll never take for granted again, it’s indulging in a good meal out at one of Perth’s best restaurants. And while there’s no telling when we’ll be able to take a seat at our favourite dining establishments next, we do know that you can whip up some of the best dishes going around thanks to a few local legends.

The WA Good Food Guide has partnered up with Fins Seafood and a bunch of other top WA suppliers to bring restaurant-quality produce to your door. If you’re wondering what the heck you’re meant to do with that produce, fear not. These guys have brought on chefs from some of Perth’s best restaurants—think Madalenas, Young George, Bivouac and Will's Domain—who will be sharing their recipes plus a whole lot more each week, so you can create restaurant-quality food at home.

Each Monday night, one chef will be featured on the brand new At Home With Chef Instagram page, so you can see what they’re whipping up. If you like the look of it, you just need to order by Wednesday and Fin’s will deliver the produce box on Friday with everything you need (including a recipe card and details of the two Spotify playlists—one for cooking and one for dining—created by the chef).

Your ingredients will come from Fins, obviously, as well as Hamlet Pork, Warren Grange Fresh Produce, Mottainai Lamb, Linley Valley Pork, Wagin Duck and Game and Runnymede Farm on the beef; basically, all the guys that usually supply your Perth’s top restaurants.

The first week (Monday 20 April) will see Adam Rees of Madalena’s take to the virtual stage, followed by Bivouac’s own Frankie Dawson (Monday 27 April), Seth James of Will’s Domain (Monday 4 May) and Melissa Palinkas of Young George (Monday 11 May), with more chefs to be announced over the next few weeks.

While the first episode isn’t live yet, they’ve made the box available to pre-order so you can get in early and secure your delivery for next week.

All you need to do is follow the instructions and eat your heart out. And don’t forget to stock up on takeaway cocktails to really take your dinner next level.
