Say Salud, The Team Behind Eat No Evil Is Opening A Restaurant

Eat No Evil has been a long time food truck favourite in Perth, so we've got no doubt that news of their bar and taqueria, La Cabaña, opening in South Fremantle will send waves of excitement throughout Perth.

It will be opening up at 400 South Terrace just a couple of doors down from Madalena's Bar and Third Wheel, and we wouldn't be surprised if house prices are soaring on this little block.

The kitchen will be headed up by co-owner Ben Fossilo, the same guy behind all the delicious eats you know and love from Eat No Evil, and you can expect authentic Mexican flavours made with fresh WA produce. Think tacos, ceviche and an ice-cold drink. It will also be Perth's first Al Pastor Taqueria and if you've been to Mexico that alone will be enough to have you down there on opening night. Drinks will also be local with South Fremantle Brewing beers on tap and lots of local wines too.

Apart from Ben, La Cabaña is also co-owned by Jarrah Stevenson-Marsh who was one of the original founders of The Bird and Madi Fay who has been managing Eat No Evil for the past few years. All three of them are Freo locals and good mates so expect good vibes aplenty.

They've had local Freo artist Sarana Haeata painting up a storm, or more accurately, a sun on the exterior wall which will add even more life to South Terrace.

We don't have an exact opening date yet but it's not far off so watch this space.

In the meantime, here are more new openings in Perth.
