Perth Cup is just about the most iconic event on the local calendar and this year they’ve made a big change racegoers are definitely going to be excited about.

Traditionally held on New Year’s Day when you’re exhausted from partying all night, this year the TABtouch Perth Cup will take place on Saturday 5 January. So now you can spend New Year’s Day recovering and make sure you’re prepped and ready to do it all again come Saturday.

You can purchase an early bird general admission ticket for just over $20 right up until one week before the event kicks off. This will get you access to the brand new Flametree Garden, which boasts all-day music (think Grace Sanders and Death By Denim), a silent disco, pop-up bars, food trucks and plenty of areas to chill out. Plus, it’s the place to go for lawn game action like croquet, badminton, giant checkers, limbo and everyone’s nostalgic favourite, bean bag toss.

If you’re keen to take your Perth Cup experience up a notch there are a range of other ticketed events you can attend too. Head to the Orchard for trackside views, private bars and exclusive entertainment, plus food and drink vouchers included in your $95 ticket.

Enclosure on the Deck is where you’ll want to head for cocktail party vibes, with all-day canapes, main course food and dessert stations, premium beverages and DJs included in the $250 ticket.

Then there’s the uber glamourous Champagne Oasis in the Sky Villa Marquee. A $255 ticket includes all-day free flowing GH Mumm Champagne, canapes on arrival, pop-up food offerings, afternoon snacks and exclusive tunes from Crucial Rockers and DJ Selina Murphy. The beverage package features spirits, poptails, Pimms and quality wines, beers and ciders.

The TABtouch Perth Cup marks the last day of the Ascot Racing Carnival Season, so if you want to get yourself to the summer party, this is it. Grab your tickets here.
