The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room is known for their delicious seafood and epic banquet menus and this month, they’re upping the ante with their annual Crab Carnival that will (surprise, surprise) see you feasting on all and any crab dish you can imagine.
The menu, by Culinary Director Sean Connolly, will keep crab lovers very happy, with dishes for one, like crab doughnut holes (doughnut sliders with blue crab meat and mayo) or the crab po boy (chicken fried soft shell crab on a soft roll, with green goddess dressing). There are more substantial dishes for two if you’re into that kind of thing (of course you are) and we’ve got our eyes on the blue swimmer nabe, which is a miso broth served in a clay pot with udon noodles, tofu, enoki, shitake and wilted greens.
We can’t forget about the drinks though and while you could just opt for a simple little golden ale—you should probably order the Crabby Mary cocktail. It’s called When Crabby Met Mary, and if that isn’t enough to sway you, then this will be—it’s made from their house Bloody Mary mix, Ketel One vodka and crab claw.
It’s all kicking off on Monday 20 March and running through to Sunday 16 April, so there’s plenty of time for you to head down to The Morrison multiple times, for every single crabby dish.
