Following the success of its pop-up store in The Strand Arcade, búl is setting down permanent roots at Paddington's The Intersection. Launching within the next few weeks, the details are still sparse, but we can reveal that búl will open with a fabulous Spring/ Summer '14 collection, and a store design inspired by 'tiles'.
The brainchild of designer Virginia Martin, búl has taken the fashion scene by storm since launching its first store three years ago in Melbourne's Curtin House. The label has swiftly garnered a cult following for its laid-back style, high-quality fabrics and subtle prints.
The eerie and magnificent New Zealand landscapes inspired the búl Spring/ Summer '14,collection. From prints featuring the natural flora and fauna, like the stunning digital feather print, to their manipulation of archetypal colour tones. The colour palette features navy, blue and chartreuse, alongside búl's trademark neutral shades such as cream, charcoal and off white. Warm hues also make an appearance with pops of burnt brown and vibrant plum.
Maxi dresses, slouchy pants, soft knits and cutaway tanks crafted from pure-cotton threads— búl has your summer wardrobe sorted. There will also be a covetable swimwear range and accessories, including chunky sandals and heels, and structured leathers.
Renowned for their simple shapes and attention to detail, búl will mark a welcome addition to The Intersection shopping strip.
