Manly’s Inflatable Boat Race Is Coming Back

By Ange Law
9th Feb 2018

If you need a little summer-style pick me up, we just found one. The Manly Inflatable Boat Race is headed back to Sydney for its 14th year and it’ll combine your love of inflatables, the beach and #winning. Like we said, this race has been around for many long years but, let’s be real, inflatables got three million times cuter in recent years (cheers Sunnylife) and that means this race has too.

The rules are pretty simple really. Register, buy an inflatable and then dress in your most wild dress up outfit—that last one’s just for us. The race will start at Shelly Beach and it’s only one-kilometre-long, but now that we think about it, that is a pretty long way when your battling against wind, water and thousands of inflatables.

There’ll be prizes for first and last over the line (shotgun the latter) and all of the proceeds will be donated to Tour De Cure – Riding to Cure Cancer.

The race will finish up with a sausage sizzle at Hotel Steyne and what we’re trying to say is it’ll be fun and you have no excuses for missing it. Head here to register.
