If there’s one thing Sydney can absolutely claim (other than having some of the best beaches in the country), it’s that we’re the birthplace for the mecca of all things fried chicken, sneakers and champagne: Butter.
And this joint doesn’t shy away from reminding us how great they truly are, having already blessed your bellies with the spicy hot ramen of your dreams and super-soaked chicken katsu sandwiches. Now, this haven of greasy feeds is hosting one hell of a sneaker drive which could see you walking away with free food. Let us explain.
Together with Shoes For Planet Earth, Butter is kicking-off (pun intended) a sneaker drive where you can drop off any unwanted sneakers at either the Surry Hills or Parramatta outpost, and the crew will donate them to someone in need of a pair.
Plus, if you end up donating two or more pairs, you’ll get a tasty hot cinnamon doughnut free, care of the Butter team.
The drive kicks off Monday 25 November and continues until Tuesday 31 December. Head over here for more details.
