The long weekend is finally upon us (insert fist pump here)! It’s time to catch up with friends, soak up the first of the autumn sunshine, eat way too much and dance a little too hard. With so many events to choose from, you'll be thanking your lucky stars you don’t have to call in sick Monday.

Flickerfest | Mosman Park

One of Australia’s most prestigious film festivals is back with an A-list programme and one of our fave outdoor cinemas, The Camelot, is celebrating over four nights. They'll be kicking off tonight with the best of the Australian shorts, while tomorrow and Saturday will both be dedicated to the best of the international films. On Sunday, they'll be rounding out the weekend with short laughs so you can have a good giggle.

WA Cider And Pork Festival | Perth

There is no denying cider and pork is a match made in heaven. Soak up the long weekend vibes with live music, food trucks serving up Perth’s best piggy dishes and over 70 different ciders from across the globe. Did someone say pork belly?

Kicking off its 13th year on one of our fave beaches, this year's Sculpture by the Sea will showcase unique pieces from over 70 artists. Take a stroll, watch the sunset and have a glass of vino at Il Lido while enjoying the picturesque backdrop.

TOBY, Riley Pearce & Blue Child Collective | East Perth

Add in some food trucks, cheese boards and a backyard bar and you know you’re in for a good time.

Adam Hall And The Velvet Playboys | Baskerville

One Day Block Party: Carpark Addition | North Perth
