City Beach is back in the game. After the devastating fires a few years back, the Boulevard is back on its feet and looking better than ever, and the redevelopment down on the beach has brought us a host of new eating options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In case you haven’t been down in a while, here are 5 City Beach cafes you need to visit this weekend.
Odyssea Beach Cafe
Take a stroll along City Beach, have a quick dip in the ocean and then head to Odyssea to refuel over a long lazy brunch. With some of the best bircher going around, or avocado with grilled halloumi if you’re more in the mood for savoury, the views are really just the cherry on top of this amazing cafe.
Park & Vine
With the head chef coming from one of our favourite Northbridge restaurants, The Standard, we knew the food at Park & Vine would be exceptional. The weekend brunch menu has got something for absolutely everyone, from freshly baked scones and epic granola to their house burger or pork kofta bao buns. Of course, you can just get eggs on toast, but that’d be boring.
Right on the beach with some wow-worthy views, the crew at Hamptons are serving up some pretty amazing lunches like grilled octopus and crocodile chorizo. The desserts look almost too pretty to eat, but we think you’ll manage!
A favourite among the locals, Georges is always busy but you can still rely on them for a delicious coffee and some of the best sweet treats in Perth!
An oldie but a goodie, Clancy’s Cafe has got laid back charm like no other. While it’s always packed, you’ll feel relaxed the minute you walk in. Sandy feet and wet hair are always welcome here so take a dip and then stuff yourself silly.
