Who knew leafy ol’ Nedlands was going to become a little slice of coffee heaven?! While it’s still a quiet little burb, it’s got a heck of a lot going for it these days. The river is great and UWA is pretty, but it’s all of the cafes (and #allofthecoffee) that we’re excited about!

Here are six Nedlands cafes you should visit this weekend.

Little Way

Little Way popped up a few months ago and has made a big bang on the Nedlands dining scene. Their lunch and dinner menu is crazy good but their breakfast menu is spot on and the coffee is perfection. We love the avocado smash with mint, feta and peas…plus a cheeky slice of banana bread for later (or the drive home).

Elixir Coffee Specialists

Small batch coffee roasters Elixir have brought seriously good coffee to Nedlands! This place is jam packed before work during the week, but if you head in on the weekend you’ll have a pretty good chance of getting a table so you can sit down and enjoy some killer noms like granola, pesto bruschetta or an epic steak sanga. If you prefer to eat on the run, grab one of their muffins to go, you won’t regret it!

Felix & Co

Another small batch coffee roaster which is also packed to the brim every single morning, Felix & Co is one of Nedlands best cafes. Sourcing the best beans from Australian roasters, they use the Japanese-originated Pour Over method, which basically means epic coffee every time. The crew here also make some of the best toasties going around and sweet treats galore!

The Tenth State

Fancy having a little shop while you caffeinate? At The Tenth State you can do just that. Order your coffee then try to avoid buying everything you lay eyes on. You can also get plenty of healthy snacks here and the toasted sandwiches look like they’d keep you very satisfied when in need of some comfort food!

Boubar

Anywhere that serves a good siracha mayo with their smashed avo deserves massive props, don’t you think? But Boubar doesn’t stop there, they have pesto scrambled eggs which will put even the biggest morning haters in a good mood and the coffee is just the cherry on top of this Nedlands cafe.

Santis

If you think you don’t like pancakes, you need to try Santis' pancakes! They are epic. Big and fluffy and topped with the most generous serving of maple syrup and berry compote, meaning you won’t need to eat for the rest of the day. If you’re into smoked salmon, the zucchini corn fritters are also pretty dang good!
