For the first time ever, Perth is invited to dine on the gorgeous Elizabeth Quay footbridge. It’s all part of an event called Cosy at The Quay which kicks off tomorrow and runs until 21 July.
With a stunning 360-degree view of the river and the city, the event brings food stalls, arts and crafts markets, live music and ice skating to Elizabeth Quay—so anyone who tries to tell you Perth is boring in the winter obviously hasn’t gotten their bums off the couch lately.
As for dining on the bridge, this is open every Friday from 4pm to 11pm and Saturday from 12pm to 9pm for the duration of the event. Grab some food from a nearby stall (or one of the incredible venues at the Quay) and devour it as you take in one of the city’s best vantage points from the fairy light-adorned, heated dining hall that’s popping up on the bridge.
And if you, like us, think gelato is a totally acceptable thing to eat in winter, head on over to Gusto to get a scoop of the good stuff while you watch the city’s twinkly lights turn on. Don’t forget to rug up!
