Fair warning to anyone who hasn’t watched Game of Thrones and plans to, this article contains spoilers. But really, if you haven’t watched past season three yet, you kind of deserve for it to be spoiled.
Alright, now that that’s out of the way, it’s time to get down to business. An immersive Game of Thrones dinner and show is coming to Perth but to be honest, we’re not entirely sure we want to be a part of it...
An adaptation of King Joffrey’s wedding, the event is being held at Rigby’s Courtyard Bar over a couple of weekends in August and promises an actual Iron Throne, sword-wielding knights in bloody combat, a jousting tournament and fire breathers.
And before you ask, yes, you’ll get to witness the poisoning of the king. Heck, even doves will fly out of a giant pie.
Dine in true medieval style, with wooden tables, red and gold banners, brass goblets and pewter tableware, as you sip cocktails and devour a three-course feast all inspired by the show.
Fingers crossed you don’t have to take part in a trial by combat, that certainly won’t be pretty for your fellow dinner-goers, or easy on a full stomach.
