It’s no secret that we’ve got a soft spot for teeny tine cafes and bars, but we also love a big group get together with our nearest and dearest and we don’t think we should have to compromise on the quality of the food and coffee when we do. Luckily there’s absolutely no need to with so many great cafes for groups in Perth.

So whether it’s a work breakfast with the whole team, your birthday or your book club, here are Perth’s best cafes for groups.

Little Way

Nedlands

Little Way in Nedlands really ticks all the boxes. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner and it’s just as good for a date as it for a big group affair. Call ahead and try and score that cute little room at the back of the courtyard for the ultimate group catch up.

Odyssea

City Beach

Odyssea really packs a punch with amazing views and so much delicious food. The beautiful setting and long tables make it the perfect spot for a group celebration and, to make things really easy, they have group menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Winning.

The Shorehouse

Swanbourne

Another spot with great views of our beautiful beaches, if you can nab one of the bigger tables on the deck you’re in for a good day. If you’re looking for a really good day, The Shorehouse does a pretty solid booze menu at breakfast time, we won’t judge.

Gordon St Garage

West Perth

Gordon St Garage has some of the best looking booths in town and some pretty delicious eats to boot. If you’re group is too big for a booth, never fear, these guys will find you a nice big table and will keep the coffees coming all morning.

Bib & Tucker

North Fremantle

I don’t know what it is about the group gatherings and beachside eateries but they all seem to be nailing it. Organise your next group brekky at Bib & Tucker and lap up the sun on the balcony while you tuck into their shared set menu.

Beaufort Local

Mount Lawley

Come Sunday morning it can be near impossible to get a table for more than two on Beaufort Street but Beaufort Local will sort you out and they’ll make you a darn good Bloody Mary while they’re at it.

Bread In Common

Fremantle

You’ll want to take a big group to Bread In Common to give yourself a chance to order everything on the menu because it’s all so freakin’ tasty! The laid back Freo vibes will have you wanting to hang out here all day.

Il Lido

Cottesloe

Il Lido—is there anything you can’t do?! Amazing for dinner and drinks, Il Lido also does crazy good coffee and some pretty special breakfasts, plus they won’t bat an eyelid when you book for a party of 10!

West End Deli

West Perth

West End Deli’s brunch menu was built for sharing. Head straight to the eggs & sides section of the menu and go ahead and order everything. The rest of your group will love you.

Ootong & Lincoln

South Fremantle

This huge South Freo cafe is the perfect spot for a laid back group get together where anything goes. Whether you’re after breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake, Ootong & Lincoln will sort you out.
