Joe's Juice Joint
Bypass the stairs that lead up to Alabama Song and instead descend into Joe’s Juice Joint, a real late night dive bar in all its grungy glory.
Freakshakes, bagels, cold drip and 90’s Kate Bush—just follow the tiny Northbridge arcade off William Street to reach the delectable bounty of Babooshka.
Varnish on King
Blink and you’ll miss the entrance into the lacquered cellar of Varnish on King, the king of whiskey and American comfort food. You can eat all kinds of pig here.
Follow the scent of freshly roasted coffee leading you up the stairs to Moana Coffee. Five Senses Coffee, fresh bagels and lots of breakfast and lunch yummies are waiting at this refurbished space.
Toastface Grillah, the hole in the wall down Grand Lane, serves up some serious grilled cheese and coffee action. The sandwich board will lead the way.
Alleyway drinking at its finest, the location of Northbridge bar Ezra Pound is only given away by the large number of bearded men drinking out of paper bags. Go to them!
Our new bar baby Halford Bar, at the refurbished state buildings, is a sexy and sumptuous little drinking cellar in all its mood lighting and velvet couch glory. Find the door tucked away off Hay Street and head underground.

Hiding amongst the office towers of Perth CBD, in another pimped up alleyway, Helvetica is the ultimate retreat for whiskey lovers.
Mechanics Institute doesn’t need to advertise its locash—being voted Australia’s Best Small Bar and all. Find the alleyway entrance to get access to this rooftop bar haven.
The Laneway Lounge
Follow the red carpet down this inner city laneway and slide into the swanky Laneway Lounge. It’s got sexy jazz tunes, VIP glamour and cocktails galore.
Fall down the hidden rabbit hole into the wonderfully moody Bobeche bar. With its alluring mix of buttery popcorn, sexy bartenders and cocktails in teacups, the pressure is on to find a way in.
Keep your eyes peeled for hole-in-the-wall coffee spot BOO Espresso as you're walking down Stuart Street in Northbridge. This friendly little nook serves up awesome coffee and light eats—pups welcome too!
