Flora and Fauna
You may have seen Flora and Fauna’s colourful and flower adorned dishes splashed across your Instagram lately. This enchanting shabby-chic café serves up vegetarian (most of it is vegan) brunches throughout the week to adoring Northbridge fans. Let their glass cabinets draw you in with house-made raw treats and baked goods. This little spot is up there with Perth's best vegetarian cafes.
The Wolf The Bean The Walnut
Wander down Wolf Lane to The Wolf The Bean The Walnut the hip little cafe serving up vegan, vego, paleo and raw fare to its city clientele. Gluten free and dairy free options are available and their breakfast bowls and lunch boxes run out the door everyday. It’s a funky space to frequent during the work week—they even have meat options available for your carni workmate.
Little Shop of Plenty
Serving up mostly raw and “gently cooked” cuisine from their new home in Maylands, Little Shop of Plenty is serious about the power of raw food and is one of Perth's best vegetarian cafes. Minimally processed, organic, local, gluten free, dairy free and cane sugar free food can be found on their impressive menu. Each tasty meal can be enjoyed in their totes adorbs café or on the go.
Manna Wholefoods and Café
There’s no need to feel like a fussy customer at Manna, the wholefood store and one of Perth's best vegetarian cafes. Organic meals are created on site and they use delish Bonsoy milk in their coffee. Get one of their daily specials while you can—they don’t tend to last long.
The suits on St George’s go straight-up superfood cray-zay at Panache café, where they can be seen queuing out the door during the work week. Cold pressed juices, superfood salads and oodles of vego, gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo options are on their “living menu”—and they serve a mean cup of Joe from Toby’s Estate Coffee. Turmeric latte with coconut milk anyone? With an onsite market and naturopath, Nature’s Harvest is a haven for health nuts everywhere. Tuck into some gluten free pancakes, buy some organic make-up and sign up for one of their workshops.
The Raw Kitchen
A bright and lofty warehouse with exposed beams and brick create the haute hippy atmosphere at The Raw Kitchen in Freo. The seasonal menu is served up sans dairy, refined sugar, additives or gluten and includes some of the best raw and cooked vego and vegan dishes in P-Town. Open for dinner Friday-Sunday and day trading the rest of the week—The Raw Kitchen is one of Perth's best vegetarian cafes.
Juicy Beetroot Café
Another destination for the vegetarian about town, Juicy Beetroot Cafe is tucked away down the delightfully-named Tum Tum Tree Lane in Freo and is one of Perth's best vegetarian cafes. Hang out under the shade of on of the trees in their charming outdoor area and tuck into a veggie curry or a tofu burger.
Heaven Raw Café
A place for raw foodies to call home, the Heaven Raw Cafe at Fern Community Centre serves the Freo locals generous helpings of nourishing fare in a casual hippy atmosphere. Share the ramshackle garden with some local felines, happy chooks and neighbourhood children and tuck into a Zoom Burger and a cold pressed chai latte.
No veggo list would be complete without Annalakshmi, the “pay as you feel” Indian buffet on the Swan River and one of Perth's best vegetarian restaurants. Enjoy mouthfuls of flavoursome vego food here cooked by the talented volunteers.
