Praise be. One of our fave hole-in-the-wall coffee spots Little SoHo is finally getting a full sized space to call home. And boy, what a space it is.
Laying down roots in the freshly redeveloped Alexander Buildings on the corner of Beaufort and Walcott street in Mount Lawley, SoHo Lane promises light ‘n bright community vibes, the same killer coffee their known for, and upbeat New York inspired decor—expect tones of pink, terracotta, a loud and proud forest green coffee bar and stunning terrazzo feature wall.
The menu will also provide a nod to New York, with Chef Benjamin Ronaldson (Mary Street Bakery, Hylin, Greenhouse) offering hangover-friendly American dishes like pickle brined fried chicken and mac ‘n’ cheese alongside all-day brunch classics. On the coffee-side, you’ll get to try their very own unique blend with Micrology Coffee Roasters brewed, paired with texturised milk using an Ubermilk milk machine. Who knew milk could be textured? Not us. But we’re damn excited to try it.
After spending more than a decade living in New York, owners Matt Miller and Trindy Adler are all about building comfy community spaces where everyone feels welcome. And just one year since opening their first venue Little SoHo, the pair couldn’t let this killer neighbourhood spot pass them by.
“We’ve always dreamed of serving great coffee and delicious food and providing incredible service in a beautiful space,” says co-owner Trindy. “To open the doors to the community and welcome everyone inside is very exciting.”
SoHo Lane is snow open, seving their quality eats and coffee 7 days a week, 7am to 3pm. Drop in and say hi.
