It seems like a new pub is popping up in Perth every month and we are 100% ok with it, because what could be bad about beers, hearty eats and chilled to the max vibes?

Scarborough is next on the list with The Galway Hooker set to swing open its beach adjacent doors at the end of November.

The Irish pub is coming to you from the legends behind Durty Nelly’s and it’s going to be jam packed with Australia’s most voluptuous Irish whiskey collection—there are over 70 types to try, so we’re all going to be spending a lot more time in Scarbs.

They’re also promising a dedicated Guinness cool room, so those pints of dark and wheaty goodness will be the optimum temperature for the hot summer days ahead.

As for the fit-out, the pub has been built in Ireland to ensure authenticity, with everything being assembled on our shores. Think cosy nooks, a raised outdoor deck featuring views of the beach, a stage and… wait for it… The Galway Hooker boat smack bang in the heart of the pub paying homage to the pub’s namesake.

Sláinte to that!
