Perth’s first permanent floating event space, The Raft is brought to us by brother and sister team, Katie and Dan Chrystal, who wanted to bring something seriously different to Perth.
The huge 445 square metre space can hold up to 250 people (180 for a seated event) and don’t worry, anyone onboard can come and go as they please thanks to the private tender which is decked out with its own sound system so you can get the party started as soon as you step off Barrack St Jetty No. 5.
No expense has been spared and the fit-out is next level thanks to Gabrielle Scott, the mastermind behind Guildhall and Porch and Parlour. It’s elegant but not pretentious with design inspo drawn from WA’s coastline and bespoke furniture coming from the legends at Remington Matters
When it comes to the food, Heyders & Shears is on the job and will be whipping up excellent bites while the drinks are all locally sourced. There are plenty of food and beverage options to suit any event, from cocktail to a full sit down affair.
If you want to hit them up to enquire about holding your own event head this way, but if you’ve got no big milestones to celebrate, never fear. The Raft will also play host to a number of killer events and here are all the dates that need to be on your radar.
