Find Yourself A Giant Cocktail Glass, We’ve Got The Reveley’s Giant Mojito Recipe

We're all missing a night out on the town sipping cocktails with our mates, but just because Perth bars aren't open yet doesn't mean you have to miss out on your favourite cocktails.

The guys at The Reveley have gone ahead and spilled the beans on one of their famous giant cocktail recipes—the Mo’ Jitos Mo’ Problems—and we thought we'd better share it with you before we took another sip.

Giant cocktail glass at the ready.

Ingredients

  • 120ml white rum
  • 100ml simple syrup (1:1 Sugar and water, by weight)
  • 3 limes (cut into 1⁄8 pieces)
  • 1 fist full of mint
  • Ice
  • Soda water
  • Optional: 75ml strawberry puree OR 75ml passion fruit puree

Method

  1. Add the white rum, simple syrup, limes, mint and puree if you're using it to a giant cocktail glass (a jug or pitcher will work just fine)
  2. Muddle/stir cocktail
  3. Add ice and top up with the soda water
  4. Give it a gentle stir (you don't want to lose carbonation from the soda) to lift all ingredients through the ice
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig for the original, strawberry slices if using the strawberry puree or passionfruit pulp if using passionfruit puree
  6. Enjoy with your longest straws to keep the physical distancing real—in reality though; only share this with your partner or people you're already sharing germs with.
