The warmer weather is upon us and your weekends are starting to fill up…but don’t plan too much because we’ve got some extra special ideas for you.

Whether you’re an avid lover of art, you love meat and wine, you totally LOVE chick flicks, or you’re all about gold chains and gangsta beats…Perth has something for you this weekend.

Here’s what’s on this weekend in Perth.

Friday 23 October

BeauVine Festival is back! We’re talking all the meat and wine you can lay your hands on! There is also plenty of art to see, music to listen to as well as some quality comedy acts to catch. Not only does it kick off this Friday at 5pm, it also re-opens on Saturday at 11am and continues through to Sunday. Make sure you get tickets cos it’s almost sold out.

Where: Birdwood Square, Highgate
When: 5pm, 23 October

This new little pop-up event is launching on Friday night in Perth’s southern suburbs. Sunset Supper Club features 17 amazing food vendors, plus some live performances. It will be continuing every Friday night until March and we recon it's the perfect way to jump-start your weekend. Even better news…it’s free!

Featuring some of the most unique and eclectic art from the Margaret River Gallery, visiting the WB Art Series Exhibition is the perfect opportunity to experience the South West without leaving Perth. You’ll be greeted with champagne from Swings & Roundabouts and taken on a journey to explore abstracts, sculptures and incredible photography.

Where: The Toorak, 61 Kintail Road, Applecross
When: 2pm, 23 October

Saturday 24 October

Calling this event a ‘food truck extravaganza’ is the biggest understatement of the year. Head down to Kings Square in Freo this Saturday for an afternoon of food, food and more food (we probably wouldn’t eat breakfast FYI!) They’ve got sweet, savoury, healthy and everything in between—we’re drooling just thinking about it.

Where: King Square, Fremantle
When: 12 noon, 24 October

Get ready to channel your inner Elle Woods because they’ll probably ask you to do the ‘bend and snap’ during this pink and sparkly musical number. Koorliny Arts Centre has the pleasure of hosting Elle and Bruiser Woods for an all weekend musical marathon. Even though the show runs Thursday through Monday, we’d suggest a fab dinner followed by the Saturday night show. Make sure you don’t wear orange though…because ‘whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed.’

Where: Koorliny Arts Centre, Kwinana
When: 2pm or 8pm, 24 October
Tickets: $25, available here

Hosted by Variety WA, this amazing night of laughs will give you the opportunity to give back to all the kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. All the cool comedy acts, including The Big Hoo Haa, James De Leo and Werzel, are donating their time to this great cause so go along and be prepared to laugh out loud.

Where: Octagon Theatre, UWA
When: 7.30pm, 24 October
Tickets: $52, available here

This Oktoberfest inspired festival is set to really impress this year with its massive line up, German beer halls and an inclusive lunch to satisfy those hungry tummies. First, choose a pick up location, then choose either Feral Brewery or Oakover grounds to begin your day. Transport will then collect you and bring everyone to Belvoir Amphitheatre where the party really begins. Get set to experience world-class music and a bangin’ after party. We wouldn’t want to miss this one!

Where: Belvoir Amphitheatre, Swan Valley
When: 12.15pm, 24 October

Sunday 4 October

Angove Street Festival is back this year and bigger than ever. Featuring some of the best local artists and entertainment, craft stalls, vintage markets and of course some amazing food. Ohh the food! Aptly named Eat Street, the event features local shops like Wrap n Rice, Metrio and Fiorentina. You will also get to enjoy some of the best street food Perth has to offer—we’re talking burgers, paella, choc pots and freshly shucked oysters. YUM!

Where: Angove Street, North Perth
When: 10am, 25 October

Guildhall is the newest event space on the scene and this Sunday, they're hosting the smoothest Sunday session in town. Featuring DJ Pasha, a Melbourne man who has been smashing out the vinyl beats for over 18 years now, soak up the soul/funk/reggae beats while you neck a few bevvies. The perfect way to end your weekend.

This is probably the most genius and whickety whack thing we’ve ever come across. Hip Hop High Tea at The George is a mix between classy cakes and tea, and gangsta beats. Don’t be afraid to wear your gold chain and high top kicks to this fancy soiree, they’ll have dope eats, iced tea and hip-hop beats flowing all afternoon. Without getting you too excited…they also have a candy shop.

Where: The George, St Georges Terrace, Perth
When: 1pm, 25 October
Tickets: $60

An evening at Print Hall that is sure to test your tastebuds and teach the amateurs how to ‘swirl', the Qantas Wine Show is busting out the Top 50 award wining wines for you to try along with delicious canapés and live jazz. Mingle with the judges or maybe test the waters by doing a master class that explores your favourite drop. It’s sure to be interesting!
