We Checked Out One Of Perth’s Best Sunday Sessions

Sundays were made for relaxing afternoons spent among friends, throwing back bevvies and chowing down on delicious pup-grub to ease those looming Mondayitis woes, which is why the humble Sunday session is the best thing to ever be invented—amiright?

Once you've had a nice lie-in and a late breakfast, there is nothing better than heading to your favourite watering hole to soak up some summer sunshine and fill that hungover belly with fatty feeds. And our favourite place to do just that in Perth is The Merrywell.

With a stellar outdoor beer garden, plenty of delicious dude-food, cold beers, epic cocktails and sweet tunes—there's always plenty of good times on tap at The Merrywell's Sunday sessions.

Booze is one of the most important aspects of a Sunday session (obvi) and The Merrywell have loads of the good stuff up for grabs. With local and international bottled and tap beers, cider, sparkling, reds, whites and rosés, not to mention a very tempting list of cocktail jugs like the Merrywell Sangria or the Strawberry Fields (with Gin, Aperol, strawberry liqueur, lemon and soda), it'll be easy to find something to quench your thirst.

Onto the food. If you haven't yet tried The Merrywell's famous wagyu mini beef burgers you're doing something very wrong with your life. They are the definition of melt-in-your-mouth and while they're designed to share, you definitely won't want to, so order a couple. Other favourites to share among your besties include the mac and cheese balls, nachos, fish tacos and the lollipop buffalo wings—gosh we love dude food!

Now that your tummy is taken care of, all that's left to do it sit back, relax and enjoy the Sunday sesh merriment with your mates until well after the sun goes down before doing it all again next weekend. Drink responsibly!
