Get ready for significant meat sweats, Sydney. Rodney Scott, the legendary BBQ Pitmaster is taking over Harpoon Harry for two gloriously meaty days from Sunday 15th May until Monday 16th May.
Rodney Scott will be cooking things up low and slow with our main man, Morgan McGlone right here in Sydney. We’re talking whole hog barbeque, cooked to perfection over coals for a solid 24 hours doused with vinegar and pepper-based sauce and all mopped up with the softest of white bread. There'll also be pulled pork, pork cracklings, Carolina coleslaw and pimento mac & cheese. Cue extreme salivation.
Hailing from South Carolina (basically a BBQ meat mecca), Rodney Scott is a man who knows meat and BBQ lovers from around the world travel to Scott’s Bar-B-Que to get in on the whole-pig barbeque action. Dedicated to Deep South traditions, BBQ is a way of life for Scott and we’re super excited to get summa that genuine Southern hospitality here in Sydney.
Hosted by Vic’s Premium Quality Meats’ Anthony Purharich, we suggest you get in early for a whole lot of barbecue, music and, yes, moonshine. BYO bibs, this is going to get deliciously messy.
