Here at The Urban List, we don’t believe in just living for the weekend, and neither should you. Now that spring has officially sprung, there is no better excuse to get out of the house during the week and treat yourself to a sneaky drink, or two.

Craft Beer Fight Club: Strange Brews
The Dove & Olive plays host to Sydney’s original Craft Beer Fight Club, otherwise known as Sydney’s ultimate craft beer event. This round, number four (but who’s counting), has been coined Strange Brews, and will see Mountain Goat vs Brew Cult in a ravenous battle to claim the title of ‘most outrageous brew’. The winner is decided by public vote, the winner then takes it all, the Golden Growler and most importantly, the bragging rights. Tickets are a must and each one gets you four beers, so snap one up and get ready for what promises to be a wild night of great beers, good times and the chance to win some awesome prizes.

5 Sense Pop Up
Hello Sydney Coffee Lovers. Did we just shout out to pretty much everyone? Any serious coffee lover needs to know about Five Senses Pop-up cafe in Surry Hills. Why? 5 Senses are now brewing incredible, fresh crop coffees for a limited time only. Right now you can snap up a killer cup of coffee from Kenya, Indonesia, Ethiopia and Panama (hello cultured), but you’ll also be able to take part in some unique tasting experiences. They also have coffee tasting that’ll be right up your alley whether you’re a fully fledged barista or a slightly crazed coffee obsessive. We haven’t even gotten to the food yet, so we’ll make this quick. Get your lips around some reimagined and damn tasty cafe food, along with what 5 Senses is calling, donut royalty.

Spring at Flow Athletic
Flow Athletic in Paddington are celebrating the new season by adding three brand new classes to their timetable for 4 weeks ONLY. These limited edition classes include Retrosweat, a VHS, 1980s style aerobic workout on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm, Silent Disco Spin Class on Thursday nights at 6.15pm, and Acoustic Yin, with a live acoustic guitar player, on Sunday afternoons at 4pm. If you’ve ever needed an excuse to actually be active in your active wear this is it. So get ready to spice up your workout routine, and don’t forget your leotards and matching sweatbands.
