You’re going to want to skip on down to ACME this Saturday morning because Four Pillars Gin are taking brunch to the next level. Basically, they've given the classic brunch drank also known as the Bloody Mary a rework with a whole heap of unexpected ingredients and we are HERE for it.
Cocktail legend and Director of Drinks at Four Pillars, James Irvine wanted to take a couple of his craziest cocktail ideas on tour. His Red Snapper has popped up at Cumulus Inc in Melbourne, and Mechanic’s Institute in Perth. Finally, Sydney is getting a turn.
WTH is a Red Snapper you ask? It’s a Bloody Mary mixed with Four Pillar’s Bloody Shiraz Gin, as well as a little beetroot and chipotle. Or, it’ll be a rare dry gin, tomatillo, turmeric and jalapeno. So snappy—and yes, our mouths are presently on fire.
As for what’s to eat, ACME’s hefty ‘Crush Me’ set menu will be available to match to your drinks. Sink your teeth into chef Mitch Orr’s soft roll breakfast sandwich with fried egg and BBQ sauce, or waffles topped with fried chicken, or charred peach cheeks. For more info and bookings, head here.
