Cult coffee company, Campos (say that three times fast) opened their third flagship Sydney store late last year much to the excitement of coffee fiends in the area. This new Sydney café is already popular with the locals and we can see why.

The Dulwich Hill location was chosen to follow Campos’ original customer base. Once-were Newtownians have now spread to Alexandria and Dulwich Hill and Campos wanted to ensure their coffee needs were being met.

You can expect to find much of the same at the Dulwich Hill store as you’ll find at Campos Newtown and Don Campos Alexandria. That’s to say you’ll still be able to indulge in the same great coffee and pastries, just in a different (and much larger) space. Working with Sydney designers, Luchetti Krelle Campos’ new home is simply beautiful with high ceilings and a clean, Scandinavian-style fit out.

On top of the typical Campos offerings, Campos Dulwich Hill offers light lunch options, which include baguettes, sandwiches, and, wait for it… sausage rolls (we have a weakness for sausage rolls) all made and supplied from their bakery, Rosetta Stone, in Alexandria.

The menu item that will be sure to keep you coming back regularly is their seasonal drink menu. Each season a drink will be submitted by their baristas with the top three being selected by a judging panel. The drink will be made available in stores and the one with the highest amount of sales wins the barista $1 for every drink sold. Not a bad way to earn some spare dollars!

Now, before you jump in your car/on your bike/on the train or simply run to Campos to get your coffee fix, we need to tell you about their affogato tasting tray. Intrigued? We thought as much. The tasting tray consists of baby affogatos served to you on a paddle with different-flavoured ice creams from Serendipity. They are small, cute, and friggin’ delicious.

As expected, there is a varied range of single origin and Cup of Excellence products as well as coffee packs and merchandise items too, so you can make like a barista and create your own coffee at home. Personally, we’d prefer to leave the coffee making to the professionals and head to Campos Dulwich Hill for all our caffeinated needs.
