Miss Peaches Launch New Summer Menu

Hamish Francis-Martin has joined the Miss Peaches kitchen as Head Chef, bringing with him a fresh twist on soul food that'll have you licking yo' plates clean.

Fresh from Freda's Bar & Canteen, where he was Head Chef, and before that Bloodwood, Bodega and Porteño, Hamish has already put his stamp on things with a new summer menu—packed with all the heart of home-cooked soul food.

Expect Southern staples like a Prawn Po' Boy, Blackened Fish, stuffed peppers, Gumbo, hush puppies and cornbread sliders. There will be more New Orleans-style dishes added to the menu, whilst staying true to traditional Cajun and Creole cooking.

To top it all off, the Newtown favourite has a great lineup of entertainment that includes: Miss Peaches Rock and Roll Dance School with Sharon Hanley (Wednesday); Ray Beadle and his band (Thursday); resident DJs Jack Shit, Soup, Flashback and Hot Grits (Friday & Saturday); with Sunday's resident soul vocalists to end the weekend.
