Big News, The Rocks Is Turning Into A French-Style Christmas Village

By Palwasha Anwary - 21 May 2019

This winter, the only place you need to be is down at The Rocks. Taking over this hood of historic laneways, old pubs and harbour-front views is a giant French-style Christmas Village.

That basically means a heap of fairy lights, French mountain food, wine, art, live music, cheese, mulled wine and movies.

They’re importing 25 authentic Christmas chalets (traditional cabins) and upping the decor even harder from last year’s markets to give you the feeling that you’re truly experiencing Christmas in one of France’s famous winter villages.

The markets will feature amazing finds like scented candles, artisanal Christmas decor and loads more special things that’ll have you thinking that you might as well start your Chrissy shopping early this year. Even better, they’ll be authentic French food like saucisson, foie gras, waffles and crepes, as well as more classic festival fare like giant fairy floss.

Head here for all the details.
