A staple in every man and woman's wardrobe, a high-quality, luxury tee will generally cost you upwards of $80.

PERSON believes this shouldn't be the case, and have recently debuted their beautiful line of tailored, organic tees with a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter. The collection includes four styles for men and six styles for women, in a variety of colours, necklines and sleeve designs, featuring limited-edition vintage1940s binding.

"We wanted to be able to make clothing for people who are interested in being connected with the process," says PERSON cofounder Nina Field. "People who care that the good thing they like, is also good behind the scenes."

Nina is one half of the PERSON duo, joining Esther Hopkins to re-envision the essential tee. Crafted locally in Sydney, from sustainably harvested, organic Pima cotton, PERSON tees will be sold directly to you at the fair price of just $55, essentially cutting out the middleman.

"I'm always on the lookout for a well-cut, soft-to-touch and timeless t-shirt—something you can either dress up or down," says Esther. "Finding the perfect tee is hard enough, let alone an organic one, so I think with these qualities PERSON will please a lot of people."

PERSON was selected to be included in the launch of Kickstarter Australia. Since its debut in 2009 in the US, the crowdfunding platform has funded 52,000 creative projects through 5.2 million backers.

PERSON's Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $25,000 by its fundraising deadline of December 20th, 2013. To get behind the campaign head here.
