There’s something about Jamaica that excites and intrigues us. It could be the music, sunshine, or the people. It could also be the jerk chicken and the rum. Or… it could be all of the above. Appleton Estate Rum has been creating delicious and authentic Jamaican rum for over 265 years and wants to bring a taste of Jamaica to our shores.
Besides actually jumping on a plane and going to Jamaica yourself, there’s really no better way to get a taste of Jamaica than to have
a giant party three weekends of parties with good rum, good food and good music, because that’s what Jamaica would want us to do, right?
Over three glorious weekends from Friday 20th November, event-goers (AKA you) will be able to experience a taste of Jamaica at The Appleton Trail events. At these parties you’ll sample special Appleton Estate rums including their Signature Blend, Reserve Blend, and their 12-year-old Rare Blend, as well enjoy specially crafted cocktails and drink specials which change every weekend. For rum nerds (or wannabe rum nerds), you’ll hear all about the rum making process and the rich Jamaican culture from which Appleton Estate was born.
Each of The Appleton Trail bars in Sydney (The Village Inn, Sweethearts Rooftop Barbeque and Taylor’s Bar) will be fully decked out to make it feel like you’re actually in Jamaica’s lush Cockpit Country with DJs, Jamaican percussion, singers, and dancers to really get you into the Caribbean spirit. There’s also talk of a Jamaican food menu created specifically for the events as well as a whole bunch of surprises along the way.
So if you love rum, Jamaica, or just good times all round, mark the next three weekends from Friday 20th November in your calendar and party like Jamaica knows you can with Appleton Estate.
