Craving something sweet? Try out this quick and delicious dairy-free cranberry and apple crumble recipe. It's full of warmth, zest and sweet flavours— and with its extra light, flakey topping, it's guaranteed to hit the spot.

This recipe is almost guilt-free and promises to be as good as grandma use to make it!

Ingredients
6 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced into small pieces
1/3 cup cranberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almond meal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
A sprinkle of nutmeg and ground cloves
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons coconut oil (or olive oil)
2 teaspoons golden or maple syrup

Method
*Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and lightly crease a shallow, medium sized baking dish.
*Mix the apples, cranberries, golden syrup and lemon juice in the baking dish.
*Moving on to the crumble layer—in a medium bowl mix together the oats, almond meal, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt and sugar.
*Add the coconut oil to the dry ingredients and mix together until a crumble topping forms.
*Crumble the topping over the apples and bake for 25 minutes.
*Serve with a dollop of vanilla soy ice cream. Enjoy!
