A winter pop-up is happening in Sydney and we’ve fiiiiiiinally found a reason to leave the warmth of our oh-so comfy beds.
For two wonderful weeks this July, you can do as the Europeans do and stuff yourself silly with all the best German comfort food then ice skate away the calories at Luna Park Sydney’s Winterfest.
Wrap your lips around a Top Do bratwurst and sauerkraut roll then keep your belly happy with mouth-watering frustas (think flatbread pizza) in all of the flavours such as Margherita or ham, mustard and Swiss cheese (our fave). Pretzels and hazelnut twists will satisfy even the fussiest eaters, and hot chocolate and beer will keep you warm (and happy).
The stalls will sit alongside a huge outdoor ice rink (just like they do in Europe, duh), which will be completely free with a rides pass, but don’t forget to jump on the classic Wild Mouse and Whirly Wheel . You’ll be at Luna Park after all. The best part? Its open alllll day as well.
Oh, and did we mention there will be snowflakes?
