It's time for the Brisbane market calendar for April, friends, and we've got some goodies for you. Of course fruit and veg' features heavily but April sees a new night market on the scene too, so download, make a list and get to market!

Food / Produce Markets

Nundah Fresh Farmer's Markets
Every Sunday from 6am to midday, the Nundah train station car park (below Nundah Village) bursts to life with a plethora of market stalls full of all the usual suspects like gourmet meat, fresh seafood, herbs and spices, fresh eggs… you get the idea! The lifestyle section is also packed full of goodies with a selection of flowers, plants, art gifts and home décor, as well as health and lifestyle products.

Brisbane Rocklea Saturday Fresh Market
The Saturday Fresh Market is pretty much the granddaddy of Brisbane farmer's markets. With over 190 stalls featuring a massive selection of fruit and veg', meats and poultry, fresh-cut flowers, breads and baked goods plus lifestyle products, it really is a must-do on the market circuit. Get in early because you'll be competing with almost 7,000 other keen shoppers.

Jan Power's Farmers Market
Jan Power's Farmers Markets - at four convenient locations - are still a safe bet when it comes to picking up your weekly fruit and veg' as well as excellent deli and pantry products. 

Where: Reddacliff Place | Queen Street in Brisbane CBD
When: Every Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm

Where: Brisbane Powerhouse | Lamington Street in New Farm
When: Second and fourth Saturday of every month 6:00am - 12:00pm

Where: Blackwood Street in Mitchelton

Kelvin Grove Village Markets
We love a good acronym, and a great market, and KGVM don't disappoint. A fave among the local student crowd for their affordable but gourmet items, fresh fruit and veg' as well as some more sartorially inclined offerings.

When: Every Saturday 6:00am - 1:00pm

Eagle Farm Markets
Grab your fruit, veg', plus super fresh meats and breads from the great stalls operated by local and regional producers before perusing the clothing and lifestyle offerings. A trip to Eagle Farm is the ultimate in Sunday multi-tasking.

Moggill Markets
Set in the heart of one of on-the-up suburb, Brookfield, the Moggill Markets are a great way to while a way a sunny Saturday with great food and delicious coffee. Of course, your standard market offering is here in spades too!

When: First and third Saturday of every month 6:30am - 11:00am

Northey Street City Farm Organic Market
Northey Street City Farm Organic Market may take a little more commitment than some of the other markets (early finishing time) but it's well worth it for the excellent organic fruit and veg', gardening supplies, and so much more. Set in a lush spot just off Lutwyche Road, this one is for the die-hard market fan.

Davies Park Market (West End Market)
Still a classic, well-patroned market with everything you'll need to stock your fridge, pantry (and belly) for the week to come.

Boggo Road Markets
The imposing Boggo Road jail in the background won't even be enough to deter to you as you peruse the selection of stalls bursting with fresh fruit and veg', ready-to-eat food, as well as baked goods and lifestyle/garden itpems.

Produce By The Pier
Just a short drive to the coast for fresh fruit and veg' as well as some great gourmet food products? Tick! A side trip to the beach while you're at it? Yes, please! 

Where: Broadwater Parklands | Southport
When: Every Saturday 8:00am – 2:00pm

Northside Lifestyle Markets
All the usual offerings to be expected from a good market, plus ready-to-eat food, coffee and entertainment to be conquered on the northside.

Night Markets

Boundary Street's Market Lane Night Markets
The Market Lane Night Markets launched this April thanks to the clever folks at Boundary Street Markets. Boundary Lane and Millison Square will transform into an outdoor evening space with hawker-style traders, local music, pop-ups and creative installations. Featuring a licensed container bar, live entertainment and car port trading, plus some delicious cuisines reflective of West End's multi-cultural overtones. 

Where: Absoe Building | Cnr Boundary & Mollison Street
When: Every Friday, 4pm 'til late

Eat Street Markets
Eat Street Markets are still attracting the crowds in droves, with good reason, too. The food and drink are delicious and the stalls full of art, clothing, jewellery and homewares will keep you more than occupied. 

Where: Macarthur Avenue, Hamilton
When: Every Friday and Saturday from 4:00pm – 10:00pm

Love Your Local Twilight Markets
The first Friday of every month is a local love-in at Hawthorne's Love Your Local Twilight Markets. Full of all the usual market finds, your shopping basket (and belly) will be very satisfied.

When: First Friday of every month 4:00pm - 8:30pm

Lifestyle Markets

Substation Vintage & Artisan Markets
Taking over an historic and well-used Brisbane landmark, the Substation Vintage & Artisan Markets will feature boutique style stalls with unique vintage and handmade products. Plus, thanks to the indoor-nature of this market, they are on rain, hail or shine!

Boundary Street Markets
Going from strength to strength, the Boundary Street Markets even have a new night market (see above!).  Pop in to Boundary Street for great handcrafted jewellery and home décor, plus Brisbane's first clothing swap, SWOP. Or just grab a bite to eat and watch the colourful West End parade go by.

Suitcase Rummage
Rummaging and coming up with a one-of-a-kind find is one of the most rewarding things around and the Suitcase Rummage provides the perfect opportunity. Excellent for unusual items to add to your wardrobe, or to give as gifts.

When: First and third Sunday of every month 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Brisbane Valley Markets
Still a stalwart of the Brisbane market scene Brisbane Valley Markets is great for fashion, jewellery, and for finding vintage music to add to the record collection. On every Saturday and Sunday.

When: Every Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Every Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Young Designers Market
Full of homewares, fashion and jewellery the Young Designers Market is the place to go if you want to support young, independent artists and designers. Pick up a gift for friends or something to add your home décor collection.

When: First Sunday of every month 10:00am - 4:00pm

South Bank Collective Market
Art, photography, designer fashion and accessories, homewares, jewellery, pop-up shops, vintage and recycled fashion, and collectables, abound at this market right in the heart of the ever-popular South Bank precinct.

Where: Stanley Street Plaza | South Bank
When: Saturday 10:00am - 9:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Flower Market

Brisbane Flower Market
Super affordable prices and the freshest flowers, Brisbane Flower Market is a budding florist or mad DIYer's secret weapon. Open six days a week, the range of suppliers certainly know their stuff!
