Heads up foodies, something bodacious, radiant and (very) large is heading straight for us and the invitation is open so expect company.
A new venture by the name of Chefs Inc. has been confirmed down in beautiful Cleveland and it’s essentially a microcosmic food safari where local up-and-comers can flaunt their talents to a swarm of hungry thousands. Similar to food hubs overseas such as Pop Brixton and Brisbane's infamous Eat Street Northshore, vendors at Chefs Inc. will be a mix of local producers and entrepreneurial chefs eager to break ice on a new era of food experimentation.
I don’t want to exaggerate but on a scale of one to biggest thing to ever happen, this falls somewhere between Samwell Tarly discovering dragonglass can kill a White Walker and Steve Jobs inventing the iPhone. It's pretty big.
This gorgeous new precinct is set to open in late October and will resemble something of a super modern open-air dining hall with no fewer than twelve kitchens pumping out the goods as well as food trucks and pop-up stalls. Of the kitchens, menus are expected to be seasonal and ever changing providing chefs with a unique opportunity to coin and explore food trends and try them out on a live audience of punters (you).
Chefs Inc. will also throw in a wine bar and some live entertainment because why the bloody hell not.
No matter what your fancy, Chefs Inc. is tipped to be the absolute mecca of serious food for serious foodies.
