Music festivals are great, but you know what’s missing? Doggos. Brisbane’s newest music festival is here to change that, with limited doggo tickets available to the event for those who want to treat their four-legged friend to some good tunes.
Nine Lives Festival is taking over the indoor and outdoor areas at Tivoli on Sunday 1 March, 2020, bringing with it a carefully curated line-up of local and international artists, sausage sizzles, food trucks and market stalls.
Brought to us by Brisbane’s favourite record store, Jet Black Music, and Handsome Tours, the festival will take place across three stages. There’ll be the main theatre inside the Tivoli, the Double Dingo stage in What’s Golden, Tivoli’s new art deco bar, and a massive open-air stage in the carpark, where you’ll be able to chill with your pup while you enjoy the laidback vibes.
On the bill is Kiwi icon Aldous Harding, along with Angie McMahon, Julia Jacklin, Kevin Morby, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and plenty of up-and-coming acts from across Australia.
Of course, if you do decide your puppy is tagging along, they’ll need their own ticket, and there’s a few rules to follow (take doggy bags, guys). But honestly, we couldn’t think of a better friend we’d want to spend the day with.
