Here at The Urban List we love to hear about good deeds going on in and around the city. Doing good for your community and for others because you’re able to is utter goodness, and it warms our freaking hearts!
Combine this ethos, though, with a pop-up bar and your fave food trucks and I dare anyone to not want to get involved.
The legends over at The Food Truck Collective have teamed up with Foodbank Queensland Ltd raising much needed funds for charities and community groups who feed the hungry.
Having recently set up, weekly Friday night food truck market, The Food Truck Hub in Fortitude Valley (of course, we wrote about it here), we can officially announce that their first bar is OPEN! What’s more, ALL of the proceeds from bar sales will go Foodbank Queensland Ltd—now there’s an excuse for Friday knock-offs if ever we heard one!
Stocked by Newstead Brewing Co., the pop-up bar will be open every Friday from 6pm so you can now tuck in to your fave Brisbane food truck eats washed down with a brew, cider or vino or two.
Go on, guys, get down to The Food Truck Hub this Friday night, for and epic feed and chilled beers. Knowing you’re doing good is the icing on the cake.
