Pizza lovers everywhere, listen up; there’s a brand new pizza joint opened in Brisbane and you’re gonna want to go there. Like, as fast as your legs (or and Uber) will take you.
A few years ago, you wouldn’t dream of having your dinner out in the Brissie ‘burbs (unless you really, really liked Eagle Boys pizza) and yet now we have a slew of Brisbane’s best restaurants clambering to set up shop outside the constraints of the CBD. Adding to our suburban foodie sprawl is Neighbourhood; a gorgeous new pizza joint in Kenmore serving up some bloody delicious slice.
With a small but mighty menu of just 7 pizzas and a few sides, Neighbourhood isn’t messing around serving up traditional-style pizzas that pack a punch—the soppressa and eggplant parmigiana are our picks!
In the booze department you’ll find a great selection of wine and craft beers (plus a few faves on tap from Green Beacon, Balter and their own brew, too), and of course a little of the hard stuff, including their take on an Aperol Spritz.
Neighbourhood are not into boring background music, either. On the speakers you’ll hear banging beats all evening courtesy of their in-house vinyl collection, and are gearing up for hip-hop DJ sets on the weekends.
Time we took that long overdue visit to Kenmore, then…
