Whether it's Mumm, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot or Krug, when we’re talking champagne our motto is make it French and keep it coming.

The only way to improve a glass or two of the good stuff is to team it with a spectacular view. Because, damn Brisbane, you look good in spring.

Here are 10 of our favourite places to pop a bottle of champagne in Brisbane.

Eleven Rooftop Bar

Fortitude Valley

The newest player in Brisbane's bar scene, Eleven wouldn't look out of place among the rooftops of New York so throw on a little white dress or that linen suit, take the lift to the Eleventh floor, order a bottle of bubbly and unleash your inner Carrie and Big as you watch the sun set over the city.

Soleil Pool Bar

South Bank

Taking its name from the sun, Soleil Pool Bar offers a warm and inviting space to worship the spring sunshine with a glass in hand. We’re never ones to resist a cold fruity treat or glass of champagne so combining the two seems inspired. Try the ‘Passion is the Colour Red’ champagne cocktail made with Rizzardi Prosecco mixed with Belvedere Pure vodka, lemon, and raspberry and rose sorbet.

At Sixes and Sevens

New Farm

Located in the heart of James Street, Sixes and Sevens is one of our favourite outdoor places to hang. Their sparkling selection includes the Sixes House Sparking from South Australia, but for the purists they also have Moët & Chandon, so grab a bottle and head out to the terraced deck for a spot of people watching.

Eagle’s Nest

Kangaroo Point

Kangaroo Point’s Eagle’s Nest rooftop bar offers sweeping views across the Brisbane River, city skyline and the Story Bridge. It’s also one of the few bars serving Moët Ice Imperial, the first champagne to be served on ice. They’re only available for Sunday sessions, so time your drinking right.

Cuvée Lounge Bar

Brisbane CBD

For a luxe and glamorous champagne toast, the Cuvée Lounge Bar at Sofitel Brisbane ticks all the boxes with vintage and non-vintage labels from 20 of the world’s great champagne houses.  When the sun goes down, they turn up the mood with subtle lighting and live music. Why not team your bubbles with the seared prawns, avocado and lime or the Fresh oysters with lemon and soy dressing?

Laruche

Fortitude Valley

With its eclectic Art Nouveau-surreal décor, cosy sofas and spectacular chandeliers, Laruche will have you feeling like you’ve dropped into Alice’s Wonderland. With almost a dozen champagnes and sparkling wines being served, there’s something for all tastes and budgets. Just watch out for the Louis Roderer Cristal which will set you back more than the average weekly rent!

Cru Bar And Cellar

Fortitude Valley

If champagne cocktails sound like your cup of tea, head to Cru Bar and Cellar where, from 10am, their champagne cocktails make the perfect pre-shopping thirst quencher.  Try the French Lush with its tantalising blend of strawberries, blueberries, raspberry puree, Chambord, cherry liqueur, cranberry juice and, of course, champagne.

Limes Hotel

Fortitude Valley

Open-air cinemas and plunge pool? Throw in a bottle of bubbly and we’ll be at Limes Hotel quicker than we can zip up our new season nude stilettos.  Dress swanky on Friday and Saturday nights but otherwise you can keep it casual for this sky-high experience. Plus it’s handy to Alfred & Constance, Alfredo’s and Kwan Brothers if you need a post-champers snack.

Lennon’s Pool Terrace and Bar

Brisbane

Overlooking the heart of the Queen Street Mall, Next Hotel boasts the sophisticated Lennon’s Pool Terrace and Bar, the perfect retreat from the summer heat. Cool down with a glass of champagne while you dip your toes in the sparkling lap pool.

Bar Pacino

Brisbane

Situated along Brisbane’s Eagle Street Pier, Bar Pacino caters for city workers by day before transforming into a sleek alcove for light bites, dinner and drinks at night. Get some friends together and share a bottle of champagne and antipasto platter while overlooking the Story Bridge.
