Fancy yourself an artist? A huge public paint-along is hitting Fremantle this November and you’re invited.
FOMO Freo Colour is taking over Fremantle Oval on 18 November in celebration of the brand new retail and dining development at Kings Square scheduled for completion in 2020.
160 double-sided easels (that's 320 places for those of you playing at home) will be popping up on the oval from 10am to 2pm. Freo bands Grace Barbe Duo, Lucy Peach and Jack Davies will be pumping out the tunes and food trucks will be smashing out orders while you paint your masterpiece. Plus, there'll be free gelato while stocks last.
Once you've made your final stroke, local artists Anya Brock and David Spencer will select the top five paintings that will win a prize and feature as part of the FOMO project going forward.
Book your easel here and upon arrival you’ll score your very own kit filled with brushes, scrapers and paint.
If you can’t nab yourself a spot at an easel, you can head there from 12pm when general admission opens to take a squiz at the colourful creations. And if there are still spaces available on the day you can get painting too.
