Calling all gin lovers of Perth, we have some delicious news for you. You’ll remember last September when Hidden deTours launched Perth’s first ever gin tour , well now they’ve gone one better! It’s time to put on your walking shoes because they’re kicking off their inaugural gin walking tours this February. Yes that’s right, booze and exercise.
The original gin tour (which is still going strong) takes punters by bus to discover four local gin makers hidden in and around Perth to taste and learn all about the le-gin-dary tipple.
While we do love a booze bus, if you had grand plans to spend less time sitting on your behind in 2020, then a walking tour might be just what the doctor ordered.
The new tour, kicking off on 22 February, will have you walking through Perth and Northbridge to indulge in gin flights, gin cocktails—as well as a masterclass in how to make them—and plenty of delicious food to soak it all up. Along the way you’ll learn loads about gin and a few interesting tid bits about our fair city that we’ll bet you don’t already know.
To start with, the tour will feature three of our favourite gin bars in Perth—Frisk, Hyde Perth and W. Churchill, though Hidden deTours owner and die-hard gin fan Monique Boucher is open to sharing the love with other amazing gin bars in the future.
The plan is to run the tours once or twice per month, but it will depend on demand so get booking because you’re not going to want to miss out on this.
