Golf Wang, Tyler, The Creator’s label, has had a pretty successful run with Nike-owned Converse, producing some of the best One Stars we’ve seen. Exhibit A.
The new collection, “Burlap”, features One Star and Chuck ’70 silhouettes. Made from the material from which the collection gets its name, the One Star and one of the high top Chuck ’70s sports the hessian material, which literally resembles a jute burlap sack. The second Chuck ’70 has a more traditional upper, using a canvas in off-white.
All pairs of kicks include branding from both parties. Special mention goes to the two high tops, which have “GOLF LE FLEUR” written in mirrored print across the uppers.
Along with the sneakers, some merch will be dropped. Featured is an anorak also using the jute material, with the Golf Wang flower logo and GOLF le FLEUR* logo on the back.
We haven’t got a heap of release details but we know you’ll be able to cop these on 15 November, so keep your eye out. They'll probably drop on Converse.com, like all the previous collabs.
