Fans of Brika rejoice! From December 1, the crew will be opening seven days a week for lunch AND dinner, plus will be dishing out tasty gyros, spanakopita, juices and coffee from their takeaway window.
Haven’t been to Brika yet? First of all, why the hell not?! Although the imported decor is worth a visit alone (it feels like a Hellenic museum, from the Athenian marble tables to the ancient drachma coins set in the floor), it’s the incredibly delicious food that has this Perth restaurant packed week after week. Pretty much everything is a winner but the crispy spanakopita, ouzo-soaked pork belly, cheesy saganaki and the melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked lamb must get an extra special mention.
With the TUL office a mere 5-min walk away from Brika, I have a feeling that gyros lunchtime visits are going to become a pretty regular thang. Just sayin’…
