It would be fair to assume that the Perth Craft Beer Festival is all about beer, but you’d be completely wrong. Yes, there will be more craft beer than any froth fanatic could dream of, but the festival is also home to an espresso martini bar, a G&T bar, a highball bar, a natural wine bar and so much more.
If you’re not into beer, here’s what you need to check out.
Espresso Martini Bar
Start the day right with an espresso martini from the guys at Lexington Hill Cocktail Club. This creamy cocktail will be on tap on weekend-long so there’s no need to wait around.
Gin & Tonic Bar
What’s a festival without a couple of G&Ts? Head over to the gin and tonic bar for a refreshing drink from the team at Old Young’s Distillery.
If you’re into whiskey, your mate Johnnie Walker will be on hand for highballs that will knock your socks off.
No surprises for guessing what you’ll get at this bar. Vino from the likes of Seppelt, Moet & Chandon, Cape Mentelle, Devil’s Lair, Bone Dry Drinks and Mad Fish will all be on offer.
Heroes & Comrades
Like your wine more on the natural side? Heroes & Comrades is the bar for you. Natural wine from Mon Tout, Walsh N Sons, Stormflower, Ghost Rock, and Vanguardist will all be on offer so you can sip pet nats, cloudy whites and orange wines in the sun.
That’s The Spirit! Bar
If you’re just looking for a straight-up vodka soda or rum and coke, you’ll want to head to That’s The Spirit! No frills, just good ol’ fashioned spirits and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks to quench your thirst too.
LAHAR VSOP + Green Tea
Last but not least, the VSOP + Green Tea is iced green tea mixed with brandy and perfect for those of you who like your drinks flat rather than fizzy. Super refreshing, this is the perfect way to break up a full day of crafties.
With all that booze, you’ll need some grub to soak it all up. Lucky for you, the eats line-up is looking solid with burgers from Greenhorns, South American BBQ from Churra’s South American Butcher, Chips on a Stick, Mexican eats from Mamacita’s Feisty Street Food, Bao Wow and more.
