Bar Pop (the guys behind The Urban Orchard) has teamed up with a few of our fave bars—Mechanics, Dominion League, El Grotto and The Court—to bring another new pop up venue to Northbridge, and we've never been more excited!
The Ice Cream Factory will take over the grassed area on the corner of Roe and Lake Street (you might know it as the spot with the amazing Anya Brock murals) and will also make use of an adjoining warehouse to bring the people of Perth a rooftop bar, huzzuh!
There will be a number of spaces, all themed to make things interesting, but we're really excited about the activations. To kick things off, they've got the Mr Black 3-Lane Bowling Alley—because the only way to make bowling more fun is by adding Mr Black's espresso martinis—and coming in at a close second is The Court's Drag Queen Karaoke Bar. Yes, this is real life. There will also be ping pong tables, silent discos every night and so. much. more.
Drinks will be coming from everyone's fave local brewer, Gage Roads, as well as Corona, West Winds Gin, Fireball Whiskey and Pimms, while Flipside, Comida du Soul and the brand new local ice cream makers Denada and Co will be taking care of the noms. If those don't tickle your fancy, you can always get UberEats to deliver your food to the dedicated drop off zone.
Kicking off on Friday 1 December, Nina Las Vegas will be performing so you might want to bail on after work drinks and head to The Ice Cream Factory instead.
The Ice Cream Factory will be running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December and will be finishing up on Monday 1 January.
Do. Not. Miss. This!
Until then, find more fun things to do in Perth.
