The trailer for season two of The OA has just dropped and it looks like we’re in for even more bizarre storylines and nonsensical parallel universes this time around. However, since the first sling of episodes left us all with a barrage of questions and in a deep state of confusion, we’re not even remotely surprised.
It’s been two years in the making but Netflix has finally dropped the trailer for season two of The OA and if you haven’t binged through the first eight episodes of season one, then you have a lot of catching up to do. The sci-fi mystery drama hit the streaming circuit back in 2016 where Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling) resurfaces after having been missing for several years and this time around, she can actually see (having been blind before).
For season two, Prairie regains consciousness once again in a new dimension. The series is split between two parallel universes seeing the OA navigate through the new world, and other characters in the old one.
Essentially, we have no idea what’s going on and we’re just going to have to wait until the release date on March 22 to find out.
And good news, the brains behind Stranger Things are doing a movie with Mahershala Ali.
