You Can Now Fly From Perth To Margaret River In An Hour!

Yes, we know Margaret River isn’t exactly a long drive from Perth, but if you’re looking for something a little bit different (and you’ve got some extra cash burning a hole in your pocket) you can now get on a seaplane in South Perth and be flown directly to the wineries of Margaret River. Now that’s living.

Swan River Seaplanes—sister company to the super popular Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures in the Kimberley—are offering day tours which take off from East Street Jetty in South Perth and drop you directly into some of Australia’s best wineries.

You can expect some pretty epic views on your way down thanks to the low-altitude flight, which will be followed up with plenty of wine, lunch and hopefully some great chat with the others on board—the plane can take up to 12 people on each trip so you might as well make some friends for the day.

It will set you back 795 big ones—which covers flights, a wine tour and lunch—so we reckon this is one for the bucket list!

This AND a glamping retreat on Rottnest? WA you win at tourism!
