Setting up shop inside The Cannery in Rosebery, Saporium is an urban food marketplace/paradise that is here to stay.
Their ethos is simple: to provide the best quality produce, ensuring a meaningful (and delicious) experience for shoppers. When you step into the warehouse on Mentmore Street, you’ll be spoilt for choice with an organic grocer, baker, dessert bar, two eating houses and a cooking school at its heart, with a butcher, coffee roaster and cookware/kitchen supplier (coming soon). Whew!
So, who exactly has snagged a spot at Saporium? We thought you’d never ask. Joining the ranks of more than 12 gourmet food purveyors by the end of the year, get excited for those who have already set up camp. All under one roof, you can take advantage of Zeus Street Greek’s fresh and casual Hellenic food, Grain Organic Bakery’s hand crafted sourdough, The Choc Pot’s temple of indulgence and Wholefood House’s one-stop organic shop.
Project Director, Peter Mystriotis had a clear vision for creating a thriving design and eating hub in Sydney’s inner city suburbs.
Mystriotis says, “Saporium has been designed and crafted as a new style of urban food marketplace to unite providores and artisans and give the local community access to a new level of high quality daily groceries. The inclusion of Vive Cooking School is the ideal centrepiece to demonstrate what Saporium is all about—sourcing, preparing and sharing real food.”
With so much deliciousness in one spot, we can’t wait to get our foodie on at the brand new Saporium in Rosebery. See all you foodies there!
Saporium is located at 61 Mentmore Avenue Rosebery, 2018.
