We’re always on the lookout for dog news, whether it’s a dog with a job like the Park Hyatt’s Mr Walker, or when Gorman and Elk did an amazing collab with Guide Dogs Australia. So when we found out that Guide Dogs Australia was putting on a dog fashion show at VAMFF, we were all ears.

The event—Diamond Dogs—is being run by Guide Dogs Australia along with Kangan Institute and Park Hyatt Melbourne, and some of Australia’s best designers will be showcasing some new designs, as well as a custom-made dog coat that they have each created. And, of course, these will be modelled by dogs.

Designers taking part include Camilla, Romance Was Born, Manning Cartell, Elk, and Búl, Mister Zimi, Skwosh, Thurley, Ben Sherman, Isabelle Quinne, and Lisa Barron along with some of Kangan Institute’s top students who will put together an opening runway show to showcase past and present student work.

Tickets are available now and start from $50, canapés and beverages will be served to all guests. It’s worth picking up a VIP ticket, which gets you front row seats along with a gift bag valued at $100.

All proceeds will help support Guide Dogs Australia as they continue to lead Australia’s vision impaired. Are you thinking what we're thinking team? Of course, you are; book flights immediately.
