Brisbane, this is big. HUGE, in fact. It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for and it couldn’t have come at a better time (take that post-holiday blues!); Netherworld—Brisbane’s first ever vintage arcade bar—is finally opening its doors this Saturday!

Featuring more than 25 vintage arcade games including old-school classics like Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Daytona USA, some 15 pinball machines and more consoles (hello, Mario Kart!) and board games than you can dream of, Netherworld is the vintage, grungy, competitive-streaking dive bar of our filthy gaming dreams.

Add to that 24 beers on tap, diner-style eats and a late licence (Brisbane, did we ever tell you how cool you are?), and we've all found our 2017 cool-as-fuck hang out.

Atari baseball caps and Tron tees are optional...

When: Saturday 7th January, from 12pm
Where: 186 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley
