Christmas without carols is like cupcakes without the icing; completely wrong.  From the divine symphony of Silent Night to the merriment of Jingle Bells, carols are an essential Christmas tradition, and you do not want to miss out!

We’ve put together a list of places you could visit to get a festive dose of musical cheer. This round-up is so good that it might even inspire Ebenezer Scrooge to sing along.

IGA Carols By Candlelight For Variety

Perth CBD

Back with its infectious Christmas spirit, IGA & Variety are bringing you an exciting night packed with a lot of festivities including face painting, food stalls and pre-carols onstage entertainment. Once the sun sets, the stage will be lit up with candles and you can enjoy a beautiful performance of your favourite carols.

Carols By Candlelight

Cottesloe

Join fellow carollers at the Cottesloe Civic Centre and spread some much-needed Christmas cheer. There’s also a BYO picnic on the main lawn of the Cottesloe Civic Centre from 6pm.

There’s gonna be a lot happening in the city, including a grand Christmas celebration packed with carols, music and other performances.

Christmas Carols At Lake Leschenaultia

Chidlow

Presented by the Chidlow Progress Association, this evening spells fun with a capital F with a whole load of carols, face painting, Santa and a sausage sizzle. The carollers will be some of the local favourites including The Chidlow Allstars, Chidlow Primary School Choir, Hannah Glassby and Mia Rose Fullerton Duet, Leanne Gielens and the Barbershop Quartet.

Heathridge Carols In The Park

Heathridge

Light up your night with some festive fireworks. Head to Heathridge Park early and grab a good spot to enjoy pre-show entertainment, carols and fireworks. There are a bunch of activities for the lil ones as well, including a visit from Santa, rides and face painting!

Hillarys

Head to Whitford City for community carols and live performances by Perth musicians! The kids can not only look forward to face painting and balloon twisting, but we heard all families might getting some free glowing fairy floss.

Candlelight Carols

Fremantle

One of the popular carol spots is back again this year, with carols led by the Libby Hammer Quintet and the Arcadian Voices Choir. You are invited to sing along, or swim along, and have a picnic or enjoy the delicious snacks sold at the stalls at the venue.

Como

Bringing ‘Joy to the World’ for the past nine years, South Perth Lions Club is hosting Christmas carols again this year and will give you and the fam a chance to enjoy carols in a glorious setting at the Neil McDougall Park.
